Trimming Down; Building Up

Through our years as coffee roasters, we have had a variety of coffee. From our main offerings to a few wild coffees, we enjoy building a menu that anyone can choose from. Every once in a while, it is beneficial to start anew. 

Over the past few months, we have been working behind the scenes on our coffee program and everything is up for change. Don't worry! We will keep some of your beloved classics! What might change is the way we get them, which only affects us internally. Anyways, this new season of Native Sons will be led by single origin offerings. We will still offer some blends, but we absolutely love single origins and the people, places and uniqueness that they represent.

While thinking ahead, we have been looking back a lot. We want to take our past and use it to help us come to informed decisions about the future. Sustainability has been one aspect we have been examining with great anticipation. Though we are not at a place to switch to direct trade completely, mostly due to the varying harvest dates, we want to be intentional on our sourcing practices. Immediately, that means planning our coffee program with intention and consistency.

We still have a lot of steps to take and many other projects to complete, but we are excited to get these coffees into your hands. We love what we are roasting and our hope is that you love brewing it. Thanks for being a part of this journey with us!
